Films

We take commissions for narrative and documentary shorts and features; however, we produce our own films, as well. All of these projects have been screened in film festivals around the world, and some have been distributed commercially.

The Ride

Dancing Fox Pictures
Narrative Feature (in production), 2024

Phil is a professional ballet dancer who is originally from a small, remote town in the Ozark Mountains. He has been away from home for many years. He resents his rural roots and has long distanced himself from a mysterious, shady family history surrounding his father. Nonetheless, late one night, Phil finds himself back in his hometown. He has no intentions of staying but, for the first time, experiences an irresistible urge to revisit his past. This kick-starts a down-the-rabbit-hole descent into the secret underworld of the Ozarks, a journey that is both psychedelic and fantastical. He finds himself embracing the kooky locals and their bizarre lifestyle and, with mixed emotions, begins to fall into his father's footsteps. Soon, his indulgent adventures become an introspective nightmare as he struggles to reconcile his background with the life he made for himself as a dancer.

My Ireland

Monaghan Productions
Documentary Feature, 2019

Anthony Monaghan, a working class immigrant living in America, takes a hard look at economic migration, mass evictions, and the homeless crisis that plague his native Ireland today. In search of answers, he travels the nation and interviews Irish people from all walks of life, from a homeless Dubliner to John McGuinness TD. One thing is clear, corruption has caused the displacement, if not the destruction, of countless lives in Ireland.

Ashlock

Dancing Fox Pictures
Narrative Short, 2018

In the Old Lead Belt of Missouri, Josiah Ashlock is a hard boiled foreman with a violent temper, abusive at home and in the mine. Mary is his repressed and misguidedly loyal wife, a lonely and whimsical soul. While his brutality keeps the mine working, it destroys the life of the person he loves most and is, ultimately, his undoing. The toxicity of male aggression and traditional gender roles is illustrated in a timeless slice of life.
